Welp! We Got Em.

We have been working non stop, I mean we are missionaries and we have been seeing the results of our work. Many of which are baptism dates. We got another one.

It's an (I pie)

She is one of the most golden people we have found. She wanted to be re-baptized. She was baptized when she was a baby, and she felt that it did not mean much, because it wasn't a conscious choice of hers. She also felt that God would see her differently if she went to another faith. We assured her that the only difference she would see would be more and more of God's love in her life.  Once we said that she was like, sign me up now! And now she will be baptized the 27th of April.

Next week we have a baptism scheduled, and so far it looks like all the pieces will fall into place. She is definitely ready for baptism. I am so excited. This is the first baptism that we scheduled that is actually going through.

General Conference happened!  And it was awesome! All the talks had good messages, and most of them went together well.  In order to watch General Conference at a members home we need to bring less active or non-member.

The first session we were unable to schedules a time with anybody so we watched it at our stake center. Nobody tested the broadcast when they set it up the the stake center.  We found out that the audio and video were 15 seconds apart from each other and it was too late to fix it, it was LIVE.

Inspiring Message
Second session was scheduled at a less active members house, they were not very enthusiastic about us watching it with them (I think they wanted to do there own thing that day) but they recently moved in so they enjoyed our company. They don't know much people in the ward yet.

On our way to priesthood session, Elder Judd's bike pedal fell off halfway to our destination. This was after we had a new one put on because his last one broke.

Priesthood session was at our ward mission leader's house. His nonmember son was there. Usually he gets all anti on us, but this time he was quiet and pretended not to listen, but his mother knew he was paying close attention.

Third session we were invited by the 4th ward sisters to a members home, and one of the people we were supposed to be teaching was there. The 4th ward sisters found her and did not tell us they were teaching her even though she lives in 5th ward.  This lady that the sisters found is now on date for baptism. We have scheduled every Saturday at 6:00 to meet with her at the 4th ward members home. They are even feeding us dinner. Teaching this lady couldn't get any better.

Fourth session was at the stake center again, we had a place scheduled but the person we were teaching could not make it to the member's home, it was not as bad as the first session, the video and audio were working.

I loved all the talks, my favorite talk I would have to say was the talk from Elder Gong.  He spoke about how the Lord is our shepherd. He knows how to guide us and He cares for us.

As a missionary I am appointed as a shepherd to guide his flock, he works through us to bring about his work.  As long as we are obedient we will be lead by The Spirit and we may not even know it.

Our Service Was Cut Short

Thanks for all the love and support,
Elder Willis
